Stellenbosch University LaunchLab is seeking an enthusiastic self-starter to coordinate and help grow the SU Techpreneurship Centre – SU LaunchLab’s brand new upskilling programme aimed at equipping individuals with in-demand technology and entrepreneurship skills.

This is an extremely exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to not only coordinate the Centre under the guidance of SU LaunchLab’ CEO and the Director of the SU School for Data Science and Computational Thinking, but to take the lead to scale the Centre into Africa’s premier technology and entrepreneurship up-skilling initiative.

The candidate will ideally have experience in developing or facilitating training and development programmes within the domains of data science, machine learning, and/or software engineering. Experience with project management and business development is very beneficial, in order to drive the project to meet milestones and generate revenue/funding for the programme.

The candidate will join SU LaunchLab as a Fellow: with the potential to grow into a full-time role, an opportunity to test out working in a start-up environment, and to explore an exciting new career path.

If you have a passion to use your skills to help shape Africa’s tech skills landscape, then SU LaunchLab will be an excellent environment for you to deploy your skills in a growing, an ambitious team bent on transforming seemingly impossible ideas into world-shaping ones.
