As part of the LaunchLab’s strategic vision and drive to encourage the Idea of innovation through open and balanced exploration, we have decided to partner with Intel on a long collaborative drive to deliver a systemic and sustainable intervention in areas of real case usage of IoT Technology.
Our focus would be to showcase how the use of IoT solutions can enhance better quality of life in the following segments:
- Smart Home Increase your home security by using sensors to create a solution that monitors the status of the doorbell, door lock, and garage door. The gateway gathers all the information and sends it to the application for edge data analytics.
- Smart Transportation Create a proof-of-concept that can monitor the internal temperature of a semitrailer and send a notification to the driver when the temperature exceeds a preset limit.
- Smart Retail This solution monitors the inventory, product sales, and maintenance of a vending machine. The gateway gathers data from temperature sensors, stepper motors, a coil switch, and a product-purchasing application for edge device analytics.
