Franz is passionate about people, technology and business. As an Engineer and MBA graduate, he was part of establishing iKubu – a radar and computer vision company with a heart.
In this highly interactive session Franz Struwig and will share the story of how iKubu, a small engineering start-up became so innovative that they were acquired by global gps giant Garmin, and the role that the practice of improvisation played in their success.
The art of improvisation has always been associated with the performing arts such as jazz and comedy improv. However in recent years innovative organizations have recognized the power of incorporating improvisational principles in their operating system to enable them to create a climate for collaboration, creativity, adaptability and flow.
Join us for this talk where you will learn key insights from iKubu’s story; get to experience improvisational principles through improv exercises, learnings on how to embed improvisation into your personal and organizational operating system as well as assistance in growing individual and collective innovation intelligence through the practice of improvisation.
