LaunchLab invites the LaunchLab Talk, Your new video overlords aren’t out of high school yet: Trends in Video Media Consumption, with guest speakers, Kimaal Baker & Stuart Thomas.
The digital age has brought new patterns in behaviour in terms of how we interact with and consume media. A crucial part of entrepreneurship is telling stories. If used properly, video can be a powerful way to get a brand’s message into digital spheres. But, understanding content consumption behaviour can be a minefield for those unfamiliar with the space.
In this talk we bring you two experienced and pragmatic media specialists. Each speaker will focus on different relevant conversations happening in the digital media landscape. Kimaal Baker, Senior Digital Strategist at World Wide Creative and Stellenbosch University Business School graduate, will talk about “Trends in Digital Media Consumption”. Stuart Thomas, journalist and Senior Reporter at Burn Media (Memeburn) will talk about “the new video overlords” and how younger generations are interacting with video content.
